Set up a facility

A facility is one building or licensed site. Residents, units and medication rules belong to it.

Needs the Senior care (Healthcare) plan.

Steps

  1. Open Facilities and add the facility: its kind (assisted living, skilled nursing and so on), state, number of beds and license.
  2. Check the time zone: it decides when medication doses and shifts are due.
  3. Then add its units (wings, floors or halls) with Manage Units. You need a facility before you can add a unit.
  4. Add the people who work there under Care team, and choose what the admission form asks under Resident Fields.
