TRAINING & IN-SERVICE HOURS

Training your team actually finishes

Build short courses with lessons, videos, handouts and a quiz. Give them to a department or to every new hire, and again each year. Staff take them on their phone, sign when they finish, and their in-service hours add up against the target you set.

In every plan, starting with Basic • No per-course or per-learner fees • Signed certificates

Worktrim Training with four courses, each showing how many people have it to do, overdue and completed

From course to certificate

Set it up once. Worktrim gives it out, reminds people, and keeps the record an inspector or auditor asks for.

1. Build a course

Lessons with your own text, a YouTube or Vimeo video and a handout, then a short quiz with a pass mark.

2. Say who takes it

Everyone or one department, within so many days of starting, and again every year. Or give it to people by hand.

3. Staff take it anywhere

Every lesson, then the quiz (they can try again), then they sign with their name. Reminders before it's due.

4. The record is kept

A printable certificate, the hours counted, and the certification it renews recorded with its new expiry.

In-service hours

See who is short of their hours, months before the survey

Set the hours each person needs in a year, for everyone or per department. Worktrim adds up the courses they finished and the outside training you counted, and shows who is behind.

  • A year runs January to December, or from each person's hire date
  • Seminars and state courses taken elsewhere: staff send the certificate, you count it
  • Overdue training on your home page, and a CSV for the auditor
  • Nurse aides in certified nursing facilities need at least 12 hours a year, including dementia management and abuse prevention (42 CFR 483.95(g))

Required hours differ by role and state; assisted living and home care rules are set by each state. Worktrim keeps the count; it doesn't decide what your state requires.

In-service hours for each person this year against a 12-hour target, with what they still have to do

For your staff

Short, clear, and done on their own time

Staff find their courses under My training in the same app they clock in with. Each lesson is a page; the quiz tells them which answers to look at again without giving the answers away.

  • Videos play in the page; handouts open with one tap
  • A certificate they can print or save as a PDF
  • Finishing a course can renew a certification, such as CPR or food handler, with its new expiry

Questions owners ask

Every Worktrim plan, starting with Basic, with no charge per course or per learner.

Not today. You build courses from your own policies, videos and handouts, which is usually what a surveyor wants to see anyway. Training your staff take elsewhere (a state course, CPR) is recorded and counted alongside.

Yes. A change to the lessons or quiz makes a new version; each certificate shows the version that person took.
